“Anti-Net” at Internot
Shooting has wrapped for “Anti-Net Activists,” a short film that takes place ten years in the future, about a young woman trying to shut down the Internet. I wrote this short, and was able to develop it and get it made with the help of the Internot Film Festival production team. Internot has a cool concept: they connect writers, directors, film crews, and actors with the aim of creating content specifically for the festival … NOT the Internet. You won’t be able to see these films online for at least another three months (as per the rules), so come to the screening! It’s happening this Friday, May 24 at the PIT, 123 East 24th Street, NYC, at 11pm. Here’s the Facebook event page with full info.
Pictured above: actors KL Thomas and Shelley Currivan with production team Brenden Gallagher and Stephen Brown. KL is one of Internot’s organizers. Stephen and I co-directed “Anti-Net Activists.”
